What is Supercharged Human?
What is at risk if young people rely too much on AI?
This initiative aims to help teens understand that their ability to think critically, to build relationships, to learn and collaborate cannot be outsourced to machines. By supercharging their human capacities instead, young people can be more prepared to resist or engage critically with an AI-saturated environment.
The question mark in Supercharged Human? is our reminder to stay curious, and to interrogate the prevailing assumptions and hype surrounding AI tools.
Schools, libraries, cultural centers, and youth-focused organisations play a crucial role in fostering honest conversations about how we use technology. They need resources that give teens the knowledge and skills they need to build their critical AI literacy and make informed choices.
Tactical Tech, Save the Children Italy and Savoir Devenir – three leading organisations in the field of critical media and digital literacy – have joined forces to create a package of educational resources that does exactly that.
