Note on Digital Services Act
This publication has been produced with the financial support of the European Union. Some contents of this work, including user contributions and archived materials, were created and collected prior to the full implementation of the Digital Services Act (DSA), the European regulation that introduces new rules to make the digital environment safer, more transparent, and more respectful of users’ fundamental rights, with particular attention to minors.
The DSA provides, among other measures, increased responsibilities for online platforms in preventing and removing illegal or harmful content, greater transparency in digital services, and specific protections for children and adolescents.
Therefore, some of the information, examples, or materials included may not fully reflect the current regulatory framework and practices in force. Readers are encouraged to complement these contents with up-to-date references to European legislation and the most recent guidelines on digital safety and digital citizenship.
Editorial responsibility for the content lies solely with AI COMP project consortium and does not necessarily reflect the official views of the European Union.
